Takayna: The Heart of Lutruwita Documentary Screening is presented by Scenic Rim Regional Council as part of the Bob Brown Foundation Summer for Takanya program.
This one-hour documentary is a fundraising event for the Foundation and aims to spread awareness for their campaign to call for the protection of Takayna. This is an area in north-west Tasmania that is home to the giant freshwater crayfish and an immersion site for artist, Bronwyn Davies. All proceeds go to the Bob Brown Foundation.
This screening follows the Exhibition Opening of Maps & Traces solo exhibition by Bronwyn Davies.
